In this essay are being described their nature and targets, as well as the different languages and technical media then used; among them, photography became extremely notorious and, through photomontages, photomurals and postcards, firmly tried to change the course of the war, hoping that such an intense visual traffic between Spain and some of the European countries could achieve the final victory.

Keywords

Spain, Civil War, visual culture, political poster, photography, Renau, La Esquella de la Torratxa.
}, number={30}, journal={Artigrama}, author={Pérez Segura, Javier}, year={2015}, month={dic.}, pages={79–97} }
