Isidro Ferrer is among the most important and well-know Spanish illustrators. His workshop is placed in Huesca and he owns more than ten awards, such as 2002 National Design Award and 2006 National Award for Children’s and Youth Literature Illustration. He is the author of a wide variety of works, from posters and picture books to glass bottles and lamps. This article reviews his life and work and it includes an interview focused on one of his illustrated books, the Book of questions by Pablo Neruda. It allows us to dip on the designer’s creative process, which can be defined as slow, surprising and limitless.
