The "Book of questions", polyphonies between Pablo Neruda and Isidro Ferrer

Was in 2006 when Media Vaca publisher made a new illustrated edition of the famous Book of questions (Pablo Neruda, 1974). Isidro Ferrer, renownwed Spanish designer and illustrator, was the chosen to draw the pictures attached to the questions proposed by the poet. This article analyzes the connections between Neruda’s unanswered questions and Ferrer’s designs. Such combined elements result on an artist's book full of shades. These designs are not only related to the questions collected in the work, but they also highlight a number of aspects of the writer’s biography and of Neruda’s poetic universe, resulting in a very rich researching field.
