Este artículo propone un retrato de las élites indígenas al tiempo republicano en la Hispania septentrional (la cuenca del Ebro y la costa mediterránea de Emporion a Saguntum). Las aristocracias locales desarollen formas de autorrepresentación en las construciones privadas y en la epigrafía publica. Si la romanización de las élites es en marcha, cambia fondamentalemente las culturas que muy despacio.
