Las identificaciones sociales de la prostituta en la literatura romana

La literatura escrita bajo el imperio romano relativa a la prostituta es arquetípica en sus identificaciones. En principio todos los autores la hacen ser extranjera pero existen otras identificaciones denigratorias cuyo objetivo es situar moralmente a la prostituta y diferenciarla de las matronae.
