El presente trabajo presenta dos conjuntos arqueológicos inéditos, conservados en las localidades altoaragonesas de Cuarte y Pueyo de Fañanás (Huesca, Aragón, España), pertenecientes al grupo de obras defensivas andalusíes construidas con un característico opus quadratum en el área norte de la marca Superior de al-Andalus entre fines del siglo IX y probablemente las últimas décadas del X.
