El hallazgo de una moneda con iconografía púnica en el transcurso de las excavaciones del yacimiento ibero-romano de La Vispesa, en un territorio apartado del circuito habitual de estas acuñaciones durante la Segunda Guerra Púnica, supone una nueva contribución para el estudio de la circulación monetaria del numerario hispano cartaginés en la Península Ibérica.
