Abstract

We have all witnessed - in a sudden instant - the appearance of a certainty that goes through the channels of thought. The outbreak of sensations that we experience becomes, at times, uncontrollable. A clarity, a safety and synthesis of the cognitive apparatus that we believe is the result of enlightenment has entered the scene. But let's not deceive ourselves, this transient adventure of the nervous system takes the form of a revelation, an emergence of our own unconscious, that dark matter in which eureka, epiphany and serendipity are forged.
