Abstract

  • El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el importante proceso de apertura exterior vivido por la economía española desde la aplicación del Plan de Estabilización y Liberalización hasta la actualidad.

    Para ello se realiza una descripción histórica y gráfica de las series de comercio exterior, así como un análisis econométrico de raíces unitarias. Los resultados muestran la intensidad de dicha transformación estructural.

  • The object of this paper is to analyse the important process of trade openness the Spanish economy has been going through since the application of the Stabilisation and Liberalisation Plan until today. With this aim in mind, a historic and graphic description is made of the foreign trade series, and a unit root test is conducted. The findings of this analysis shed light on the intensity of this structural change.
