Más allá de la codificación y el control: Filtración, categorización y bloqueo en la definición del sujeto inglés

Resumen

Este artículo ofrece una definición no intuitiva del sujeto inglés al analizar las propiedades de codificación y control de Keenan y al sostener que la filtración, las propiedades de bloqueo (correferencialidad, omisión del relativo y del objeto interrogativo) y la categorización también deben tenerse en cuenta en la definición de esta función gramatical. La consideración de las propiedades de filtración y bloqueo permite un enfoque transteórico de este fenómeno sintáctico que puede modificar la jerarquía de Keenan de las propiedades del sujeto y la jerarquía de las funciones sintácticas de Keenan y Comrie.
