El objetivo de este artículo es discutir aspectos de la gramática de las cláusulas (no relativas) que siguen a sustantivos principales. En concreto, se tratarán dos aspectos. El primero tiene que ver con los distintos tipos de expansiones de los nombres principales que pueden aparecer bajo la forma de las cláusulas (no relativas) que. El segundo tiene que ver con la naturaleza de las pruebas para postular distintos tipos de cláusulas that en la estructura del NP. En esencia, este artículo se centra en la división complemento/modificador, en la medida en que se aplica a las cláusulas that en el NP. En el centro de esta discusión estará nuestro intento de sostener la tesis de que no existen complementos de sustantivos con la cláusula ese.
