Abstract

Joana Biarnés es uno de esos grandes personajes que, a la luz de acontecimientos presentes —en este caso, el auge del feminismo y la necesidad de mostrar la labor de las pioneras en diferentes ámbitos profesionales—, rescata la historia. Hoy en día, después de haber sido galardonada con la Creu de Sant Jordi de la Generalitat catalana en 2014 y haberse recogido su trabajo en este último lustro en varias exposiciones, se ha vuelto conocida. Sin embargo, durante casi treinta años, la que había sido la primera fotorreportera en España quedó en el olvido de una sociedad desmemoriada.
