Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

1.- Publication and authorship:

The authors will list all sources of funding for the research described in the submitted manuscript in the 'Acknowledgements' section.

The authors will confirm that all the work in the submitted manuscript is original. They will acknowledge and cite content reproduced from other sources. The authors will obtain permission to reproduce any content from other sources.

The authors confirm that the submitted manuscript is not under consideration or accepted for publication elsewhere. Where portions of the content overlap with published or submitted content, they will acknowledge and cite those sources.

2.- Author's responsibilities:

The authors will participate in the peer review process and will follow the comments.

All authors mentioned in the paper have significantly contributed to the research.

The authors will maintain accurate records of data associated with their submitted manuscript, and will supply or provide access to these data, on reasonable request.

The authors will notify promptly the journal editor or publisher if a significant error in their publication is identified. They will cooperate with the editor and publisher to publish an erratum, addendum, corrigendum notice, or will retract the paper, where this is deemed necessary.

3.- Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers:

The reviewers will contribute to the decision-making process, and to assist in improving the quality of the published paper by reviewing the manuscript objectively, in a timely manner.

The reviewers will evaluate manuscripts as objectively, fairly and professionally as possible in the spirit of looking for the truth and to make advances in the scientific knowledge. They will avoid personal biases in their comments and judgments.

The reviewers will be aware of any potential conflicts of interest and will alert the editor to these, if necessary withdrawing their services for that manuscript.

The reviewers will be alert to missing citations to similar work, and will draw those to the attention of the authors and the editor.

The reviewers will maintain the confidentiality of any information supplied by the editor or author. They will not retain or copy the manuscript.

4.- Editorial responsibilities:

The editors have complete responsibility and authority to reject/accept an article and they will have no conflict of interest with respect to the articles they reject/accept.

The editors will only accept a paper when reasonably certain.

The editors will promote the publication of correction or retraction when errors are found in the paper. Nevertheless, they will preserve the anonymity of reviewers.

5.- Publishing ethics issues

The editors assure the authors that they will monitor the publishing ethics and that they will maintain the quality of the papers and the academic integrity of the journal.

Infringements of professional ethical codes, such as multiple submission, bogus claims of authorship, plagiarism, or fraudulent use of data will lead to the retraction of an article.

The editorial board will preclude business needs from compromising intellectual and ethical standards.

The editorial board will always be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.

No plagiarism and no fraudulent data will be accepted.
