Miradas compartidas: Valente y Falces

Resumen

 El poeta José Ángel Valente y el fotógrafo Manuel Falces realizaron varios proyectos comunes en los que investigaron imagen y literatura. Nos centramos aquí en el primero de ellos: Cabo de Gata. La memoria y la luz, publicado por Unicaja en 1992 como resultado de una exposición que se llevó a cabo ese mismo año. En este volumen podemos encontrar esa interacción de fotografía y poesía alrededor de conceptos como la luz, la memoria, la vida, la muerte y la divinidad, presentes en la obra de ambos autores y que aquí encuentra su representación definitiva como resultado de un compartir la mirada de ambos artistas.

The poet José Ángel Valente and the photographer Manuel Falces developed a few common projects in which they researched the relationship between image and literature. In this article, we have focused our attention in the first one of those projects: Cabo de Gata. La memoria y la luz, published by Unicaja in 1992 as a result of an exhibition that took place in the same year. In this volume we can find that interaction between photography and poetry related to concepts such as light, memory, life, death and divinity, present in the work developed by both authors and that find here the definitive representation as a result of a sharing of the views of both artists.
