Abstract

This article will analyse some intertextual elements appearing in different Children’s and Juvenile works published in Spain - not necessarily Spanish- in the las decades of the 20th century. The focus will be on those intertextual elements related to the anthropological-mythical structure of the first narrations, also known as Campbell’s monomyth. The research will involve an evolutive study showing the persistence and the variations of the primeval narration pattern depending on the historic context where it is created and the target citizens whom is meant to educate.
