The article examines how planetary urbanization has transformed the agricultural landscapes of Ribera Navarra into operational landscapes, driven by irrigation projects and the expansion of hydraulic infrastructures. The Canal de Navarra project has promoted land consolidation and agricultural intensification, fostering a large-scale production model of agriculture production focused on exports. This transformation has reshaped the traditional function of the territory as a local food basin and as an extension of the fluvial ecosystem. As a result, the study highlights biodiversity loss, soil erosion, and the alteration of natural flood cycles, reflecting the impact of urbanization on rural landscapes. In response to this scenario, the concept of Territorial Praxis is introduced as an integrative approach that combines planning and design, aiming to incorporate the ecological and social dynamics of the territory in planning. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the study proposes a new framework for landscape planning, where design and territorial planning aligns with natural dynamics, fostering sustainable and adaptive agricultural models. Thus, the discipline of landscape urbanism through Territorial Praxi is reaffirmed as a key component in formulating policies that balance economic forces with territorial sustainability.
