Notas sobre el Urbanismo de la Arquitectura

JOAN BUSQUETS. Arquitecto y Urbanista, catedrático de Urban Planning and Design del GSD en la Universidad de Harvard. Hasta 2002 fue catedrático en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Barcelona y cofundador del LUB de Barcelona. Fue Director de Urbanismo del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona en los preparativos de los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona 1992. Desde los años noventa desarrolla proyectos urbanos en varias ciudades europeas como La Haya, Delft, Ginebra, Rotterdam, Toulouse, Toledo y Lisboa entre muchos otros, y en todo el mundo como Singapur, Shanghái, Ningbo y Sao Paulo. Ha sido galardonado con el Premio Erasmus de Holanda en 2011; Premio Cultural de Arquitectura de Cataluña; el Gran Premio Especial de Urbanismo en Francia en 2012. Elegido miembro de la Académie d’Architecture de France (2016). JOAN BUSQUETS. Awarded with the 2012 Paris Grand Prix Spécial de l’Urbanisme (France) and 2011 Erasmus prize (The Netherlands). Elected Full Member of the Académie d’Architecture de France (2016).
