Cancellation AIS Special Issue: "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Business"

2026-02-03

The Editorial Board of the journal Acciones e Investigaciones Sociales would like to inform authors and readers, with the utmost respect and appreciation, of the cancellation of the special issue entitled “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Companies and Organizations”.

The deadline for manuscript submission for this special issue closed on January 31, 2026. After the completion of the evaluation process and careful consideration of the submitted manuscripts, the Editorial Board has concluded that the number and quality of the eligible papers do not allow the academic and scientific standards required for a monographic issue to be sufficiently guaranteed. For this reason, and not without regret, the decision has been made to cancel the special issue.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors who placed their trust in the journal and contributed to this call. Manuscripts that meet the editorial and scientific criteria of Acciones e Investigaciones Sociales may be considered for publication in a regular issue, following the journal’s standard peer-review process.

We also warmly encourage the submission of new manuscripts for the upcoming issue of the journal.

"Acciones e Investigaciones Sociales" is the scientific dissemination magazine edited by the Faculty of Social and Labor Sciences of the University of Zaragoza, which provides support for research activity, and offers open access to the entire scientific community. The journal is indexed in the Journal Citation Report, in the ESCI index, with an impact factor of 0.5 and Q3 (2023). It is also indexed in other indices such as dialnet, CSIC, etc.

The average response time is 10 days in the case of a negative response from the Editorial Team, and 74 days until acceptance or rejection once the peer review process is completed.

The journal has a multidisciplinary character, accommodating all the scientific-pedagogical branches of the Faculty. In this issue, 10 original contributions have been published from research teams from Spanish universities, Europe and Latin America, strengthening the international presence of the publication.
