Abstract

This paper is based in the quantification of four major aspects of foreign visitors in Mexico, namely presence, penetration, density and predominante of this type of tourism in the national territory. To achieve this the respective four ratios were calculated for each of the most important tourist municipios in the country. Such a territorial view of tourism can be used as reference for future research in the Geography of tourism in Mexico.
