Abstract

The paper represents a summary of the Doctoral Thesis of the author. It deals with several aspects related to the regional and evolutive geomorphology of the central sector of the Iberian Chain: neogene erosion surfaces, karst landforms, pediment deposits, fluvial terraces, endorheism and lacustrine deposits. Finally, the geomorphological evolution of the studied area is established, which is controlled by the neogene neotectonic activity and quaternary climatic evolution.
