Esta síntesis retoma las principales etapas de la creación del Instituto de Historia del Tiempo Presente en Francia haciendo hincapié en la legitimación de esta novedosa corriente historiográfica. Asimismo considera la inserción de la misma en las problemáticas memoriales de hoy, especialmente ante el fenómeno de “globalización de la memoria”.

Abstract

This synthesis takes up the main stages of the creation of the Institute of the History of Present Time in France with emphasis on the legitimation of this innovative historiographical current. It also considers the insertion of the history of present time in nowadays issues regarding memory, facing particularly the phenomenon of “globalization of the memory”.
