Mystery and Performance in Barry Unsworth's Morality Play

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar Morality Play (1995), de Barry Unsworth, a la luz de los patrones que conforman la fórmula de la ficción detectivesca clásica. La novela de Unsworth se aborda como un relato de misterio y detección que avanza a través de una serie de representaciones concebidas como un juego de moralidad. El motivo de la representación se utiliza así para relacionar los patrones del relato detectivesco con los de las moralidades medievales, al tiempo que se cuestionan al final los fundamentos en los que ambos se basaban.
