Abstract

In this paper we study the relation between the emergence of Literary Hermeneutics in the Enlightenment and the development of Philosophy and Psychology in the Eighteenth Century. It raises how and to what extent the constitution of the Literary Hermeneutics was determined by the presence of the philosophical theories of that time, from the racionalist to the sensualist. In the same way, the interpretation and the literary comprenhension are analyzed based on the psychological factors that gave meaning and fuction to the reading of literary plays.
