Abstract

In this article I'll analyse the different vision of a historical character in two literary texts, and also the reasons in which this perception could be based. Having as a reference the historical model that chronicles and biographies offer, I'll try to study the way of construction of the character and the difference of vision that on the adventure of Aguirre both novels project, difference motivated perhaps by the origin -Spanish and Hispanoamerican- of their authors.
