Abstract

The amazing stories with which Joan Fontcuberta builds his photographic inventions are presented through a literary display that comprises a diversity of genres, styles, structures and means of information, parodying the characteristic rhetoric of some authority fundamentals and manipulating the trust that the viewer or the reader uphold to their prestige. Besides, the different pseudonyms he uses to hide him as the author of his texts help him improve that this measured combination of reality and fiction increases its credibility or at least creates a reasonable doubt.
