About the Journal

The journal has a multidisciplinary character since it includes articles related to the different scientific disciplines that are taught in the field of the subject of study in the Faculty of Social and Labour Sciences of the University of Zaragoza (Spain): Labour Relations, Labour Market, Labour Law, Business Accounting, Social Work, Social Services, Social Policy, Social Economics, Welfare State, etc.

Its current focus is on disseminating original and innovative research in the social field at national and international levels. Papers from social sciences such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, social work, social education, legal sciences, law, economics and business, related to social work, social intervention and the workplace are accepted.

Journal history

Acciones e Investigaciones Sociales is the scientific journal of the Faculty of Social and Labor Sciences of the University of Zaragoza (Spain). It arose with the following objectives: to support the research activity of teachers, to establish a common forum for communication and debate between teachers and researchers from the different Departments and Areas of Knowledge with representatives in the Center, and to expand this communication, finally, with other Universities that were researching similar topics.

The coordination falls on the Editorial Committee, made up of representatives of the different Departments represented in the Center.

The journal has, since 2013, an annual periodicity.

The journal has not revenue sources, and does not use advertising nor direct marketing activities.
