Comunidad terapéutica para drogodependientes y relación educativa

Las Comunidades Terapéuticas Profesionales son programas multiprofesionales de intervención con drogodependientes desde marcos institucionales ampliamente conocidos. Generalmente en ellos se define fundamentalmente una intervención terapéutica y una intervención educativa. Esta última, al menos en cuanto a tiempo dedicado, juega un papel primordial. Se ha intentado realizar un análisis descriptivo de lo que supone la relación entre el educador y el residente de una Comunidad Terapéutica desde un punto de vista de la comunicación interpersonal entre el profesional (educador social) y el educando (el residente). Se concluye argumentando la validez de la intervención educativa como forma de capacitar al sujeto drogodependiente para la vida social.
