Abstract

The study looks again at the question of the authorship of the additional parts of the second edition of the Poética (1787) by Ignacio de Luzán. The contribution of Eugenio de Llaguno to the editing of the book is accepted, but the arguments awarding authorship of the additional parts are rejected. In the same way Agustín de Montiano is also given merit for his indirect contribution and Luzán is actually proved to be the real author of the second edition of the Poética.
