Abstract

Comparative analysis of Jean Rhys' short novel Good Morning, Midnight (1935) and Alice Munro's short story "Dimension" (2006) aimed to explore the development which feminine trauma treatment has experienced in women's literatura from Modernism to its culmination as an independent genre ---Trauma Literatura--- on the verge of the 20th Century. Thus, this essay focuses on how narrative time is proposed as a means to imitate the deviated perception of reality which characterizes a traumatized mind.
