Abstract

After the decesase of the Spanish poet Ángel Guinda (1948-2022), the attention to his lyrical work is steadily increasing. But this reception faces a crucial setback: the curtailment of the early production by the author himself, fact that is not trivial insofar as the study of these postponed or self-postponed literary beginnings stands as a decisive critical key to decipher his lyrical work. This article places the focus on those poetic dawns, delving into the significance of this specific hermeneutical prism and Guinda's poetry. It is thus intended to provide a theoretical basis for such an advantageous perspective, in relation to the significant link between the life and work of the poet and the distinctive features of his verses between the seventies and nineties of the 20th century.
