SALDUIE is a scientific journal edited by the areas of Archeology and Prehistory of the Department of Antiquity Sciences (University of Zaragoza) and the Reference Research Group P3A (First Settlers and Archaeological Heritage of the Ebro Valley). It focuses on the publication of archaeological works ranging from prehistory to the present day, highlighting those developed in the Ebro Valley, and is also open to national and international publications.
SALDUIE is an open access journal, included in the Directory of Open Access Journals, with review of articles by blind peers.
It accepts the submission of original research works under four modalities of different focus and length:
- Articles (up to 90,000 characters with spaces and 15 images), research on general or specific topics;
- News (up to 45,000 characters with spaces and 10 images), shorter contributions on developments in archaeological research;
- Instrument (up to 10,000 characters and 4 images), to reveal significant elements of material culture that by themselves have no place in the previous sections; and
- Tribune and Reviews (up to 9,000 characters), focused on recent and current editorial news, opinions on current archaeological heritage, etc.
The Department of Antiquity Sciences is also responsible for editing the collections Archaeological Monographs (Prehistory Series and Archeology Series) and Zaragozana Archeology Monographs, which may be some of the numbers of these monographs co-published with other public or private institutions.
SALDUIE and the University of Zaragoza are not responsible for the veracity of the information and opinions expressed by the authors and their collaborators, nor do they necessarily share their opinions and interpretations. The authors are responsible for managing the rights of the images present in their works.
