The article reviews La Plaza del Tenis, the public space created in San Sebastián in the mid-seventies by the architect Luis Peña Ganchegui as a prelude to the sculptural group El Peine del Viento, by Eduardo Chillida. This article envisages an autobiographical relationship between Luis Peña and his oeuvre in which, from the reading of the work the architect considers his masterpiece, we illustrate the mechanisms he used repeatedly, in order to define his unique way of thinking the place throughout his career.
