Abstract

Recently, a decrease in motivation and critical thinking skills among university students has been observed at a global level. One of the tools available to university professors is active methodologies for their development in the classroom. The Great Books Seminars is a methodology that allows the incorporation of different aspects such as critical thinking, reflection, ethics as well as interdisciplinarity. The objective of this work is to present the Teaching Innovation Project that is being developed at the University of Extremadura and the degree of acceptance of this among professors and students.
