Author Biographies

Jaime J. Ferrer Forés, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya

Architect by the Barcelona School of Architecture (2000), PhD with European Mention (2006) and Extraordinary Prize of Doctorate of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2008). Fellow at the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome (2015-2016). Selected as one of the "Europe 40 under 40" by the European Center of Architecture and the Chicago Athenaeum (2014). His work has been part of the Vogadors exhibition at the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2012) and Time Space Existence at the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2014). He published a monograph on Jørn Utzon. Works and Projects, published by Gustavo Gili (Barcelona, 2006). Aggregate Professor at the Architectural Design Department of the ETSAB, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Visiting Professor "Prometeo" at UNACH, Ecuador (2013-2014) and Visiting Professor at CAUP Tongji University, China (2013).

Noelia Cervero Sánchez, Universidad de Zaragoza

Architect by the ETSA University of Valladolid (2004), Master in Art History Advanced Studies (2011) and PhD by the University of Zaragoza (2016). Her professional activity is linked to the offices Sicilia y Asociados (2005-2011), Aqso (2011-2012) and d2arq (2011-2015), with awards and diffusion of work in magazines such as AV, Vía Construcción, Future Arquitecturas or Architetti. In 2011 she exports the development of graphic tools to the field of teaching and research. Her research activity is attached to MIMECO project, the OAAEP Research Group, the University of La Sapienza and the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome. Her work has been published in scientific journals such as Informes de la Construcción, Ciudad y Territorio, EGA, Urbano or ACE, and international seminars, congresses and meetings. She is Assistant Professor at the P.U. Architecture of the University of Zaragoza.
