If images are included, they must be free of payment of reproduction rights, as well as respect for the right of privacy if they include people's faces. All this, as well as the originality of the texts sent, is the responsibility of the authors. In each collaboration the name of the author or authors, that of their institution, their electronic address and ORCID code will be recorded and made public.

Empirical research articles are recommended to have these sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.

The sources of funding, if any, have to be included in acknowledgments.

The texts will be sent in doc / docx using the magazine template (renewed in 2020). CLIO has no restrictions on the length of manuscripts. The bibliographic reference citation system is APA 7 from 2020.

Sending originals for evaluation and publication implies acceptance of these conditions, as well as authorization to the Asociación Proyecto Clío for their possible subsequent dissemination in different media, provided that the authorship of each article is maintained. Authors will send a declaration of authorship and transfer of rights and a cover letter.

EVALUATION PROCESS

Articles and reviews are evaluated by double blind peers. Once two evaluations have been received, the article is accepted for publication if both are positive and if the evaluators suggest any modification prior to acceptance, this is communicated to the authors so that they can proceed to review the work and send a second version. If there is discrepancy between the evaluators, it is referred to a third reviewer. Since  2021 the CLIO editorial team is committed to providing a first response within a maximum period of 4 months.
